At Crooked Creek Sheep and Wool, we strive to raise hardy crossbred sheep with multiple fiber types. While our sheep are duel purpose wool and meat sheep, we are focusing the breeding program to produce fiber for a variety of uses, including hand spinning, felting and weaving. The fibers our unique mixed-up sheep create range from medium fiber with wavy crimp, producing a smooth yarn with excellent drape, to fine wool with well defined tight even crimp that produces a lofty, soft yarn that is light and warm. Most fleeces have a soft handle, luster and range in length from 3 to 7 inches. Having multiple fiber types in one flock allows us to create unique fiber blends that can be used to create an assortment of fiber products. We believe that using natural fibers in all aspects of our lives should be integral to how we live and that there is a purpose for every fiber. Our fiber is used to produce roving, yarn, batting, felt, and stuffing and has multiple end use utilities. Uses for natural fiber are only limited by the imagination of the user!

In addition to fiber, we also offer USDA or custom processed lamb. We currently have 10 lb lamb bundles, https://checkout.square.site/buy/XNDJYKN2KRFSDPD73JMQRFHA and a variety of mutton sausage available https://checkout.square.site/buy/XIVMYONQCGGQOZFMYXTA6POJ
